Hosting and platforms

We host the majority of our client's sites for them at the Adobe Systems European data centre or on our CentOS based server located in London's docklands. Both locations provide state of the art security, data back-up protection and connection to the internet via Tier 1 networks.

Online prototyping
Mapping the site
Having successfully completed the project's discovery phase, we begin the design by mapping the main site areas.
Page hierarchies, visual pathways and content relationships are established, the aim being to create an intuitive user experience which informs, guides and positively encourages the required action with each navigational decision the user makes.
Creative design
Your brand values, identity and business personality are incorporated into the working prototype at the early stages of the build, with the design actively encouraged to evolve as the live protoype develops.
During the early stages of the process we will ask for your comments, suggestions and appraisal, enabling the build to evolve organically and helping to ensure that the site looks and performs as we all intended, right from the start.
CMS integration
We integrate the prototype with it's content management system at the very first stage, allowing you to not only see and use the site, but also take the CMS for a test drive, adding content and editing pages (should you desire) as the build develops.

Application interface design
Over the past couple of years we have been asked to collaborate with a number of application programmers to aid in the redesign of several ageing and confusing interfaces, leading to the development of a new service that is proving increasingly popular.
Separating style from content
The advancement of CSS and it's ability to totally separate functional dynamic code from presentation has created the opportunity to produce clean new interfaces which can be updated and rebranded as required using stylesheets that affect the look but not the functioning of the application in question.
Putting the user first
In the past users of many of these applications have battled with complex, badly laid out interfaces which were often ambiguous, cumbersome and frustrating. By consulting with users and discovering what does and doesn't work we have helped some large organisations develop a clean new look in a number of core service applications with consistant and uniform branding accross a wide range of application pages.
